What this site collects, which is very little, and what we have committed never to collect.

This page describes arohan.group. Our ventures run their own sites under their own policies, and those will differ: a commercial site has legitimate reasons to measure things an institutional one does not.

What this site collects

No cookies are set for tracking. There is no advertising network, no session recording, no fingerprinting, and no chat widget. We use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics to count page views and whether readers return — the single number we actually care about. It does not identify you.

If you subscribe

We store your email address for the purpose of sending you the Arohan Letter, and nothing else. The list is never sold, never rented, and never shared with our ventures — they are separate businesses with separate lists. Unsubscribing takes one click and takes effect immediately.

We export the list monthly to storage we control. That is a continuity measure rather than a data-collection one: it means a change of newsletter provider never puts your subscription at risk.

If you write to us

Your message and address sit in our mail system so that we can reply, and are kept as ordinary correspondence. We do not feed them into a CRM or use them to build a profile of you.

What we have committed never to do

No third-party advertising trackers on this domain, ever. This is a standing commitment rather than a description of the current setup, because it is a posture about what kind of institution this is and not a tooling decision that a future team should feel free to revisit quietly.

Your requests

Write to hello@arohan.group to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We reply within one working day.
